From the Sinn Feinsteins News Letter:

Please find a link to the recently published Sinn Féin discussion document entitled ‘The Economic Benefits of a United Ireland‘.

We believe this document is a serious and important contribution to the ongoing conversation about a New Ireland.

It reveals the possibility of an All Island economy capable of expanding its economic potential, creating new jobs, delivering first class public services, including a health service for everyone, and building a better standard of living for all our citizens.

Irish Unity, and economic & political autonomy, makes sense creating new opportunities and new prosperity for all citizens across the Island.

In our view a United Ireland offers the best opportunity to tackle the threats of Brexit and the global pandemic posed by Covid-19.

The document also examines the adverse economic impact of partition since its imposition, against the democratic wishes of the Irish people, 100 years ago and it also tackles the issue of British subvention to the North demonstrating the affordability of Irish Unity.

International understanding, support and solidarity is crucially important to building peace, prosperity and equality in Ireland.

We urge you to read, comment on if you wish, and distribute this document widely.
