El Jones is a poet, journalist, professor and activist in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She teaches at Mount St. Vincent University and is the author of the recently published book, Abolitionist Intimacies . She joins us to discuss her book, Canada’s upcoming Canada Day celebration and its role as a colonizer nation which works closely with the US in its imperialist actions. She joins us from Halifax.
