March 19, 2015–The following is a four-minute video news report by ‘Essence of Time TV’ in the Donetsk Peoples Republic reporting on the recovery of the railway center city of Debalsevo in eastern Ukraine. The small city took a terrible pounding from the Ukrainian armed forces and right-wing militias during the ‘Anti-Terrorist Operation’ launched by Kyiv 11 months ago. The city was liberated from occupation last month.
The video was filmed on February 28. The government of the Donetsk Peoples Republic has been providing the residents of Debaltsevo with food, generator sets and construction materials. The city is gradually returning to peaceful life. Residents have organized themselves for survival, including with community kitchens in the center of the city providing food for all who need it.
The video also shows that Debaltsevo is full of armor that was abandoned by the retreating Ukrainian ultra-nationalists.
