The Canadian Maritime Command frigate HMCS Fredericton (FFH 337) enters Naval Station Norfolk, Va., Sept. 11, 2009, to join Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 26, USS Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group, along with 13 ships from nine nations for a joint task force exercise. DESRON-26 will be coordinating an international task group with Fredericton, Royal Netherlands Navy frigates HNLMS Tromp (F803) and HNLMS Van Speijk (F828), the Brazilian Navy frigate BNS Liberal (F 43), the guided missile destroyer USS Oscar Austin (DDG 79) and the guided missile cruiser USS Hue City (CG 66) in the final exercise for the USS Harry S.
