MH Flight 17 wreckageThe Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has a whole host of questions about the Dutch draft of a final report over the inquiry into the Malaysian Boeing crash in Ukraine, Rosaviatsia deputy chief Oleg Storchevoi said.

“We have in fact received a draft of a final report on the investigation of the Malaysian Boeing MH17 flight crash. I can say that having studied it we have more questions than answers,” Storchevoi told journalists. He said: “Our specialists have a whole host of significant questions about the document, about its arguments and simple technicalities – we are gathering all of them now and will send them to the Netherlands in the coming days.”

Storchevoi expressed his hope that the additions and comments made by Russian specialists will be reflected in the final report and that answers will be given to the questions posed by the Russian specialists.

“We were given not 60 days, as provided under the ICAO [International Civil Aviation Organization] standards, but only 30 days to study the report,” Storchevoi said.
